Infinity notes are platform-independent functions provided by executables and shared libraries and consumed by debuggers and other software development tools.

Each Infinity note contains exactly one function that consumers may call. For this reason the terms "Infinity note" and "Infinity function" are somewhat interchangeable. The body of the note is a DWARF expression as described in Infinity bytecode.
